This article discusses how to work with especially interviews based on the work by the philosopher, ethnologist, anthropologist, and sociologist Pierre Bourdieu (1931 – 2001), and the concepts and tools, he offers. Bourdieu has described his work as empiric theoretical and as something that takes place in situ and in acta, that is, while happening and as it occurs. Bourdieu has on several occasions been interviewed about his theoretical position and ways of working (Bourdieu & Honneth, 2005; Bourdieu & Wacquant, 1996; Pécseli, 1995).
